Am I the only one who feels like this is what they are doing right now by putting money into their 401K? When this whole financial crisis started, I would occasionaly look at mine to see what the damage was. Now I'm just to scared to even look. I'm sure the losses are in the 10K-20K range as of now. Which doesn't seem like a whole lot, but that's my hard earned cash we're talking about. Not only this, but the market continues to bounce up and down more than Hub's man boobs while he's running down the field in one of his football games. On top of all of this, the company that I work for is now cutting all matching funds to my 401K because of the down turn in the economy. So as it now stands I'll be working until the day I die. Should be sweet.
Maybe P. will have an extra room for me down in 'Zona when retirement rolls around.
What do you say P?

At times like this it always makes me feel better to think of other great things the government has done for us like changes to the social security rules.
I feel very good about my social security funds going to not myself in the long run, but to illegals, or any others who have moved into our country and apply for Citizenship. I love that those in congress who are already overpaid to make stupid descisions do not have to pay S.S. but yet when they retire from their jobs, they will feel good spending my money, that I was forced to give them over the years. That's what makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
your money will be there when it turns around, just dont bail. Although socialism just got elected, you are still young enough to recover.

The market will bounce back... Look at all of the other economic bubbles that have popped through out history. It might be tough for a year or so, but in the end it will work out to be better. I am happy to throw money in my 401k. We are buying stock cheap, and that is the best kind of stock. I do agree with Ri-bone. Unwar the Goverment charging me Social Security. I hate it so bad. I would rather invest the funds myself. Freaking Jerks!!!

Now days it should not even be called Christmas... It should be called $$$$$mas. I really hate it because the real meaning of christmas is not the center of celebrating it anymore... Its all about a man dressed up in red bringing a gazilion presents..
